The Visual Arts Touring Quick Turnaround Grant program (VAT) The VAT Quick Turn Around Grant Appplication cycle 2010 will open on December 1st.
These grant applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Grants will be awarded, provided the proposed project is of high artistic merit and meets the requirements outlined in the VAT grant guidelines. Funds will be available until the remaining VAT 2010 funds have been awarded. The Quick Turnaround Grants requirements are the same as the standard VAT grant guidelines. Please review the VAT grant guidelines before applying.
VAT grantees with an existing open VAT contract cannot apply until that contract is closed. If you have questions about your proposed project’s eligibility and fit, please e-mail Seyan Lucero at seyan.lucero@westaf.org or call her at 303-629-1166.
Exhibitions supported with VAT Quick Turnaround Grant awards must take place between October 1, 2010, and September 30, 2012. The project is considered complete when the originating institution has opened the exhibition at the second touring venue. Opening dates for both venues must occur between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2012.
VAT is a competitive grant program. Using National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) funding, WESTAF will allocate matching grants of up to $50,000 each to visual arts organizations to support tours of visual art exhibitions of important regional artists, or exhibitions of quality that reflect a significant theme found in WESTAF’s 13-state region.
The Western States Arts Federation is a nonprofit arts service organization dedicated to the creative advancement and preservation of the arts. Based in Denver, Colorado, WESTAF fulfills its mission to strengthen the financial, organizational and policy infrastructure of the arts by providing innovative programs and services to artists and arts organizations in the West and nationwide. WESTAF is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts; the state arts agencies of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawai’i, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming; private and corporate foundations; and individuals.

The Visual Arts Touring Standard Grant program (VAT) The VAT Standard Grant Appplicatin cycle for 2009 and 2010 is currently closed.
Final Reports for 2009 and 2010 are now available online. To access your final report, please log in and then click on Current Programs and Applications. You will see a list of your applications and final reports. Find the applicable cycle and click on the Final Report link to complete your final report online

WAC Exhibition Grant -
Please note that the WAC exhibition grant program is now closed. Only returning WAC grantees can continue to process their final reports and request payments on this site.
